Itinerary
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, get assistance on all the arrival formalities and transfer to cochin hotel.
Check in to the hotel, on your arrival at Cochin. Later, enjoy a half-day city tour of Cochin by visiting places such as the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Net, Marine Drive. Return to the hotel in Cochin and stay overnight at Cochin.
Morning Proceed to Munnar. Munnar, “The Southern Kashmeer of Kerala, located 1800 meters above Sea level. This hill station is marked by vast expanses of tea plantations, colonial bungalows, rivulets, waterfalls and cool weather. A 4 hour scenic/picturesque drive to Munnar through hill station. Enroute visit Spice Plantations, Valara/Cheeyappara Falls. Arrival at a place which is called ‘nature’s lovers paradise’. On arrival check in at Hotel. Later in the day free for leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Munnar.
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar as you visit places such as Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Nursery Garden, Photo Point, Eravikulam National Park, which is well-known for Nilgiri Tahr, Anamudi Peak, which is the highest peak in South India, and Tata Tea Museum. In the evening, go on a Spice Tea Trailing and return to the hotel at night.
In the morning, travel to Thekkady, located in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala. Drive past the spice plantations, mist capped mountains, and open grasslands lined with scenic waterfalls and lovely trekking trails. Check in to the hotel as you arrive, relax and refresh for a while. Later, get ready to enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Go on a boat safari on the Periyar Lake which takes you through Periyar Tiger Reserve. Spot some unusual and various wildlife in its natural habitat and later visit the Spice Plantation. Visit Kumili village in the evening and take a walk through the bustling Spice Market. Stay overnight at the hotel, in Thekkady.
Morning proceed to Alleppey. Alleppey a charming village on the Vembanadu Lake. The land which is known for its azure backwaters, swaying palms, and floating houseboats. A 4 hour scenic drives through typical Kerala Village, Paddy Field. On arrival check in at Kettuvallam known as a famous Kerala Houseboat. Lunch at Houseboat. Cruise through the unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and river. Visit Paddy Field, Kuttanadan Region the only region cultivate rice below sea level. Overnight at hotel/Houseboat in Alleppey.
Proceed to Cochin. Bid farewell to this serene land as your holidays comes to an end as you get transferred to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey back to home.
